James C. Behm's Obituary
Behm, James C. Age 87, of Jackson, passed away April 14, 2014 while wintering at his Mission, Texas home. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Timmie; four children, Cindy (Robert) Culver, Mark (Kathy) Behm, Mike Behm and Dana (Brandi) Behm; 12 grandchildren, Shawn Rowley, Shannon (Joel) Knight, Brookton (Clare) Behm, BreeAnn (William) Brushaber, Heather Sovjak, Audra (Cody) Lockwood, Spencer Behm, Stephanie (Robert) Bradley, Rachel Haas, Christopher Behm, Holly Beebe and Jared Beebe; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Harrison Behm; sister, Sandra Bishop; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mabel Behm and his daughters-in-law, Pam Behm and Tracy Behm. He was an Army Veteran of World War II serving at the West Point Military Academy, retired as Shipping and Receiving Foreman after 32 years service at Clark Equipment, was a member of the American Legion, also had been a member of the Napoleon Lions Club, the Jackson Sno-Roamers Snowmobile Club, the Never Ever Home Camping Club and the Otter Boat Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting playing cards, riding his Harley and treasured golfing dates with his sons. Services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11 am. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Cemetery Military Honors will be offered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Contributions in his memory are directed to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
