James M. Booth Sr.'s Obituary
Age 82, of Jackson, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Naomi R.; four children, James (Peggy) Booth Jr., Terry Kay (Gary) Brown, Patricia (Terry) Raigh and Linda (Jud) Kidney; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and his sister, Carolyn Fletcher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil M. and Thelma N. (Crosby) Booth and three sisters, infant Patsy Ann Booth, Lelaih Gillette and Nancy Hobart. Mr. Booth served the nation with 20 years active duty in the US Air Force, then worked at Clark Equipment, the County Club and Cascades Golf Courses before retiring from his last employment at Premiere Corrugated. He was a member of the American Legion Rose City Post, Michigan Center. Funeral Services to honor his life will be held at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church, 361 E. Grove, Michigan Center on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Larry Rubingh officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 11:00 am until service time. For those who wish, contributions to the charity of one's choice in Jim's memory would be appreciated.
