James Martin Fitton's Obituary
James Marlin Fitton, 84, passed away February 27, 2026 surrounded by his family at the Henry Ford Jackson Hospice Home. James’ family will hold a private interment at a later date at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
James was born on December 23, 1941. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Army and served his country with great pride. He married the love of his life, Judith Ann, in 1963 and they spent nearly 50 years together until her passing in 2013. James was a simple, but proud man, who loved his country, his classics on television, doing crossword puzzles and word searches. He was old fashion and kept to himself, but enjoyed staying close to his family. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
James will be missed by his children, Steven, Bryan, Kevin, Vicki Moog (Justin), Jason (Sonya Barker); sister, Pam Kowarski; grandchildren, Rachel, Kevin and Kaylene; and several great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Judith Ann.
