James Milton Frye's Obituary
James M. Frye, 84, from Napoleon Twp, MI, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at his home.
He was born on February 15, 1940, in Parma, MI, to Rolland and Charlotte (Pennoyer) Frye. Jim married the love of his life, Judy Frye, in 1966 in Jackson, MI, who he sadly lost only a few months ago, in October of 2024. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1958. He proudly served in the Marine Corps from 1958 to 1962. Jim worked at Kent Moore as a supervisor in the dye and machine department, until his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed playing Euchre and loved spending time with his family. Jim was a member of the American Legion 315.
Jim will be missed by his children, Marty and Ken VanZandt from Tipton, MI; siblings, Beth (Larry) Haines from Iowa and Greg (Cathy) Frye from California; grandchildren, Lucas VanZandt and Lydia VanZandt; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his infant son, James Scott Frye.
