I am sad that he is no longer here, but i have many memories of the conversations him and i had while working together at interlakes market. He will be very missed Shelby holloway
Our hearts are broken at the loss of our friend, Jim. His smart wit and laughter would bring smiles to our faces. His deep insights on some unusual topics made one really think. We've enjoyed many conversations with him and learned so much. He had the kindest soul and would stick up for the underdog. Even as deep-thinking as he was in conversations, I always felt that he had an inner private self that he reserved for close friends and family. He was a jovial teddy bear of a man and a dear friend. Shortly after I met my husband, Tom Pulka, I met Jim and he told me that Tom was a good guy. Ever since, I referred to him as my big brother when I would see him. He steered me well. We will miss him dearly. Our sympathies go out to Kristin and the family, and to his many, many friends. He touched so many lives and will leave a big hole in the local musician community. He's probably at the Pearly Gates teaching the angels how to play the antique harp. - Jan and Tom Pulka
