Jane Yager's Obituary
Age 59, of Jackson, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health due to complications from Covid pneumonia. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Abshire; mother, Fidelia England; dear friend and former husband, Calvin Yager; sister, Bonnie Adams and brother-in-law, Alan Everett. Jane is survived by her beloved children, Ashley Yager, Adam (Nicole) Yager and Justin Yager (Lindsey Leonard), all of Michigan Center; three grandsons, Dominic, Damon and Dakota; three sisters, Jo Everett, Carol (John) Potter and Kim England; special nephew, Ben Adams; Yager family members; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was a 1979 graduate of Jackson High School. Jane worked in nursing as a CENA, but her favorite occupation was that of homemaker and mother/grandmother. She enjoyed crafting, painting, gardening and spending time with her grandsons. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm. Cremation will take place following the visitation. A Memorial Luncheon open for all to attend will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm at The Assembly Church, 141 E. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49201.
