Janette Marie Vincent's Obituary
Janette Marie Vincent, 84, of Jackson, MI, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Cascades Senior Care Center. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
Janette was born on April 10, 1941, in Jonesville, MI, to Franklin and Meta (Evans) Titus. She graduated from Jonesville High School in 1960. Janette married the love of her life, Donald Earl Vincent, in July of 1961, in Jackson, MI. She was an excellent homemaker, who took care of their 2 children and home. Janette was an avid rock collector, loved going on walks, loved the great outdoors and enjoyed exercising. She spent 25 years on the election board at Liberty and Columbia. Janette was a past member of the Skiff Lake Bible Church. She loved being around people and no one was a stranger. Janette was dedicated to her family and loved becoming a grandmother to her 6 grandchildren and, later, becoming a great grandmother to her 6 great grandchildren. She loved going to all the grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events. Janette will be remembered as a loving, kind wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Janette will be missed by her husband of 65 years, Donald Vincent; her children, Jack (Christine) Vincent and Jeff (LeAnn) Vincent; her grandchildren, Zach (Reem), Josh (Rachel), Seth (Courtney), Jake and Alyssa (Brent); her great grandchildren, Eden, Luka, Patrick, Leighton, Parker and Stephen; many nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Meta; 7 siblings; and her grandchild, Logan.
