Janice Elizabeth Penn's Obituary
Age 66, of Summit Township, passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Health September 1, 2019. She was born in Jackson, Michigan January 26, 1953, daughter of the late Charles Edward and Lady Ruth (maiden-Scroggins) Wilson. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend of 41 years; William J. Penn (January 22, 1943-July 14, 2017) and her brother; Billy Wayne Wilson. She is survived by brother; Edward Wilson, nieces, nephews cousins and their families, five step-children. She was a graduate of Parkside High School (Class of 1971), went on to earn her CNA Degree at Jackson Community College. She loved her family, many friends and especially her furry friends. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. She well be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Jan asks that you remember her by playing "The Rose" by Bette Midler and do not cry, for I am now where I longed to be. Those who wish may make Memorial Contributions to any Humane Society or Veteran's Service Group.
