Mrs. Lantis was such a special person. I remember fondly lessons learned from her at Grass Lake High School. My most favorite memories however were long after I graduated and she rememberd my obsession with all things royal and would send me postcards and magazines from her travels to england. Rest In Peace, Aunt Jean and say hello to my mom when your up there. I will happily read a book in your honor!!

A wonderful teacher and role model for many young adults growing up at GLHS. She gave us all more than just an education. Many great memories of Aunt Jean and will remember them always.
You will be sadly missed. My favorite teacher. I shall read many books in your memory. One of the few who made my life better. Good- bye and I hope they have a lot of books where ever your final journey takes you. Thank-you for caring.
My sincere condolences to your family. Mrs. Lantis was an inspiration to so many of us in Grass Lake. She encouraged me to follow my path of writing and to follow a path of being independent in a time when that was not the norm. I cannot begin to express the influence she has had on my life even all of these years later. Cherish your memories. We are all blessed to have had her touch our lives. She is, was and always will be an angel.
My heart and prayers go out to the family of Jean Lantis. What a wonderful gift she was to so many of us at GLHS. Her wonderful sense of humor helped me through many difficult teenage years. She will be remembered fondly.
So sad to hear of Aunt Jeans passing. She was one of our favorite teachers at GLHS. May you find eternal peace and comfor Aunt Jean.
