Jean Elaine Sarata's Obituary
Aged 92, of Leoni Township, passed away November 5, 2018 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 64 years, Edward P.; daughter, Mary Sarata, granddaughter, Lacey Campbell and grandson, Brandon (fiancé Jessica Huber) Campbell; two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Florence Oexler; brother, Donald Oexler who died in World War II; sister Ruth Fowle; half brother and half sister, Orville Allen and Mildred Schlee. She was a retiree of J.C. Penney. At her request cremation has taken place and no services or visitation will be held. Cremains will be interred at St. Johns Catholic Cemetery. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home (2150 Kingsbrooke Drive, Jackson, MI 49202).
