Jeffrey (Tazman) William Powell's Obituary
Age 63, of Homer, passed away at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo on Saturday, April 16, 2022. He was born in Terre Haute, IN, the son of James W. and Beatrice M. (Whitesell) Powell.
Jeff is survived by his son, Richard Powell (Courtney) of Clarklake; grandson, Ashton Powell; granddaughter, Audrey Powell; mother of his children, Diana Powell; brothers, Mike (Dina) Powell, Dan Powell, Tim Powell, Jim (Peggy) Powell and Charles Powell; sister, Rose (Mark) Powell; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Scott Powell.
Jeff worked as a machinist and currently as a quality control technician at the Calhoun Foundry in Homer.
He loved his sons and grandchildren, the great outdoors, his dog Zeus and riding motorcycles.
A visitation to share memories and celebrate Jeff's life will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from Noon to 3:00 pm. Cremation will follow the visitation. For those who desire, contributions to his family for their needs and wishes would be appreciated.
