Jeri Lynn Feeman-Veldhoff's Obituary
Jeri Lynn Feeman-Veldhoff, age 67, of Brooklyn, passed away peacefully Friday, May 2, 2025, surrounded by her children. She was born January 17, 1958, in Tecumseh, Mich., to Norman and Olga Walz. Jeri graduated from Manchester High School in 1976. She dedicated 31 years to Ford Motor Company, retiring in April of 2024. Beyond any job title, her proudest and most cherished role was “Grammy.” Her grandchildren were her world and there was no limit to the love she gave them. Jeri put her children above all else and made sure everyone knew it and nothing would change it. She was the best mom anyone could ask for- our superwoman-who never hesitated to make sacrifices for the happiness and well-being of others. Her heart was bigger than the world, and she had a way of making everyone feel valued and cared for. She lived every day putting others before herself- whether family or friends. Jeri gave her whole heart asking for nothing in return. Her warmth, gentle advice and unwavering support were constants in the lives of those lucky enough to know her. She leaves behind a family knit tightly by her love and shaped by her example. Survivors include her children, Jennifer Feeman, Dennis Feeman and Jessica (Chris) Poniatowski; grandchildren, Samirra, Peyton, Caley, Jacy, Jesse and Iyla; brother, Steven Walz. Jeri was preceded in death by her husband, Bret Veldhoff; and her parents, Norm and Olga Walz. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeri’s honor to Cancer Research Foundation.
