Jerry Alton Bentley Jr.'s Obituary
Age 58, of Vandercook Lake, passed away January 5, 2019 at home under the loving care of his family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Suzann Lynn (maiden-Terns) Bentley, daughter; Shauna (Nathan) Post, step-daughters; Dawn (Don) Mifsud and Marcia (Tim) Van Dusen, nine grandchildren; Corbin, Claira, Quincy, Keegin, Kassidy, Ashlyn, Drew, Colin, Katy and Donny, sisters; Laurie (Ken) Gales and Jeannie (Joe) Lerczak, brothers; Todd and Dan (Carla) Bentley, parents; Jerry Alton and Lois Ann (maiden-Trine) Bentley Sr., many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Penny Bentley. He was a gifted tool and die maker who worked his career at several shops in the Jackson area, loved to travel and do road trips and treasured the time he could spend with his grandchildren. Mr. Bentley has been cremated. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at the funeral home Sunday January 13, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Greg Grotbeck officiating. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice.
