Jerry Gene Gier's Obituary
Jerry Gene Gier, 85, of Lake Leann passed away in his home on March 9, 2025. His immediate family held a private gathering at Eineder Funeral Homes-Brooklyn Chapel with Military Honors.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Janet, three children, Danny (fiancé: Heather), David and Tonya. Three granddaughters, Danielle (Jason) Sumner, Rebeka Green and Alyssa (Jake) Miller, four great grandchildren, Bristol, Easton, Raelynn and Maven, three brothers, Raymond Gier, Donald Gier, Wayne (Carol) Gier, sister, Joan Hartley, several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Madeline Gier, two brothers, Jimmy and Harry Gier.
Jerry proudly served in the United States Army and then went on to enjoy playing pool and cards with friends. He was a mechanic, machine builder/supervisor. On the weekends Jerry spent time with family at Milan Dragway, racing until he was 80.
