Jerry Dean Marowelli's Obituary
Jerry Dean Marowelli, 85, of Michigan Center, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. Jerry’s family and friends will gather from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2024, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (Formerly Arthur-Day Funeral Home). His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. immediately following the visitation. Pastor Jim Wiech will serve as celebrant.
He was born on March 18, 1939, in Pittsford, Michigan to John James and Inez Blanche (Double) Marowelli. Jerry served in the Army with the Military Police. He married the love of his life, Andrea Jean Woodard, on October 9, 1991. Jerry will be remembered as a proprietor, with a devotion to serving his community. As a highly skilled mechanic, he was a well-known business owner in the Jackson area, operating Jerry’s Diesel Service for 35 years. Jerry was an active outdoorsman and enjoyed rodeos, camping, canoeing, and boating. He was a private pilot and had a passion for flying. Jerry and Andrea loved going on cruises and traveling, creating many memories together during their 32 years of marriage. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Andrea Jean Marowelli; his children, Missy Marowelli, Lory Marowelli, Mike Marowelli; stepchildren, Patti Jaycox, John Jaycox, Joseph Jaycox (Davina); brother, Larry Marowelli; grandchildren, Jerry Clark (Elizabeth), Donny Clark, Kaci Rudd (Jamie), Mikey Lounsbery, Morris Marowelli, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by; his parents, John and Inez Marowelli, and brother John Marowelli.
