Jerry M Sova's Obituary
SOVA, JERRY M. Age 65, of Leoni Township, passed away at the family farm, Tuesday, February 19, 2013 under the loving care of his family, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Jerry is survived by three children, Susan Sova of Hillsdale, Connie Sova and Jerry (Meeka) Sova Jr., both of Jackson; his mother, Leone of Leoni Township; longtime friend and companion, Delores Mullins; nine grandchildren, Anthony, Bobby, Tiffany, Eric, Cyrus, Eva, Drew, Kole and Brady; brother, Larry Sova; special aunt, Irene Lutz; mother of his children, Sally Green; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Sova in 2004. Jerry was a lifelong dairy farmer and enjoyed the outdoor activities of fishing, hunting and trapping. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Leoni Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Jerry's memory may be made to the University of Michigan Cancer Center.
