Jesse Lawrence Brooks' Obituary
Age 36, of Napoleon Township, passed away March 22, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. He is survived by his two sons, Brady and Aiden Brooks; mother, Laurie (Joel) Overbaugh; father, Mark Brooks; former wife and close friend, Sarah Flores; siblings, Samantha (Jesse) VanEtten, Ashley (Drew) Vitek, Matt (Jada) Brooks, Shayna (Cory) Stutler and Baylie Overbaugh; grandparents, Phil Vanderkarr, Sharon York and Stacia Brooks. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jo Vanderkarr and Duane Brooks. Jesse worked for years in the construction business doing poured cement walls. He loved to mud bog in trucks, work on cars and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jesse's world revolved around his two boys and his close friends and family. He was always outgoing, loving and never met a stranger.
In remembrance of our beloved son, brother, father and friend, Jesse Lawrence Brooks, we will be holding a memorial service on July 25th, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brooklyn American Legion, Wilber-Bartlett Post #315 (211 Chicago St. Brooklyn, MI 49230). Please join us as we celebrate his life and share memories of all of the extraordinary things he had accomplished in his short time with us. Contributions in his memory are directed to his sons; Brady and Aiden in care of their mother Sarah Flores, which will be donated to Home of New Vision.
