JoAnn Eastridge's Obituary
Jo Ann Eastridge, 84, of Brooklyn, Michigan formerly Celina, Ohio, passed away on January 1, 2026 at Henry Ford Hospital Jackson. JoAnn’s family and friends will gather Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel, with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Jeff Sheeks of the First Baptist Church will officiate.
She was born on September 27, 1941, in Lyles, Tennessee to Leonard and Ruby (McFarlin) Allen. JoAnn married the love of her life, the late Paris Eastridge, Jr., on July 3, 1958, in Michigan. They had 67 wonderful years together, until his passing in July 2025. She will be remembered for her commitment to her family and devotion to her husband. JoAnn never forgot to mail cards for special occasions. She attended all the school events for her children. JoAnn painted porcelain dolls and baked lovely doll cakes in her early years. She and Paris were on a bowling league, they played cards regularly with family and friends and took many weekend trips, and traveled extensively through out America. JoAnn enjoyed gardening and had an amazing green thumb. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Gary (Jennifer) Eastridge and Libby Eastridge; a brother, Kenneth Allen; grandchildren Natasha Eastridge, Jason (Amanda) Smith, Kyle (Hannah) Johnston, Ted Johnston and Travis (Clarissa) Johnston; great grandchildren Nora and Brayden Smith, and Dylan and James Johnston. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Ruby, and two brothers, Terry and Jerry Allen.
