I have known John for his entire tenure at the University of Michigan. I never met a nicer person and always enjoyed talking and being around him, he will be missed. I would like to give everyone my condolences to his family and friends. My prayers are with you and your family.

So sorry to hear about John's passing. John had an awesome smile. His stories about his "Bell" days were always funny and interesting. We enjoyed his visits to campus after he retired. What a great guy! He loved his FAMILY. I'm sure he'll be missed.
