John Robert Brick's Obituary
John Robert Brick, 88, passed away at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital on July 24, 2022. John was born on August 7, 1933 to Peter and Blanche (Kirk) Brick. John was a 1952 graduate of Manchester High School. He then worked 36 years for the U.S. Postal Service in Detroit. He was a long-time member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Saline. John pursued many artistic interests in his spare time. He also enjoyed watching Detroit sports teams on television, especially the Lions.
John will be missed by his relatives Mary Beth Burch Miller; Ruth Townsend Burch and many other cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Blanche (Kirk) Brick; and cousins Thomas Burch; Ann Burch Becktel and Larry Becktel.
John’s family and friends will gather at Saint Mary’s church in Manchester at 10 AM on October 1, 2022. Memorial Mass to begin at 11:00AM. Interment of his ashes will take place at Saint Marys cemetery following the mass. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester, Michigan.
