John H Dolsen's Obituary
Dolsen, John H. Age 88, of Lake Columbia, passed away peacefully at his home April 24, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 69 years, Stella; four daughters, Lynne Judd, Joan (Johnny) Woods, Catherine (Lowell) Fast and Ellen Brown; one brother, Francis (Ann) Dolsen; 29 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Dolsen; 3 brothers; 1 sister; 3 sons-in-law and 2 grandchildren. John was a Life Member of the Michigan Free and Accepted Masons and the Order of the Eastern Star; recipient of the Lou B. Windsor Award and a Life Member of the Bay City Scottish Rite. Services will be held at the funeral home Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tom Burgett officiating. Visitation will be Saturday evening 5 to 7 pm with Masonic and Eastern Star Memorial Rites at 6:30 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to his family.
