John Orville Edwards' Obituary
John Orville Edwards, 58, of Napoleon passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was born on May 27, 1965, in Addison, Michigan. John was a Columbia Central High School graduate, class of 1983. He played the tuba in the marching band and aspired to become a veterinarian because of his love of animals. John served in the United States Navy after graduation. He was a huge sports fan, loving all teams of Michigan, especially Michigan State and of course NASCAR. John lived a simple life, battling mental illness most of his adult life. He enjoyed riding his bicycle around town and going to Vineyard Lake. John had a contagious smile that will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his sisters, Rhea (Brian) Bearden, Tonya (Carl) Bunker, Pamela Knapp and Brenda (David) Hubbard; nieces Ashley (David) Church, and Charlie (Hayden) Demeuse; nephews J.C. (Stephanie) Hinton and Gavin (Rebecka) Peters; many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon; father, James Knapp; brothers, James Knapp, Jr, Randy Knapp and a nephew Derek Hinton.
