John Glenn Grennay's Obituary
John Glenn Grennay went home to the Lord and his mom and brothers, Trinidad, William and Ralph on September 7, 2021, in the company of his loving wife of 58 years, Arvilla Grennay and his sister, Fran Savicki. He is survived by his son, Todd and Kathy Grennay, Tracey O'Neill; his grandchildren, Chelsie and Anthony Thompson, Megan and Joe Rodriguez, Tyler O'Neill, Katana Grennay, and Jordan Goostrey; his great-grandchildren, Aria, Cash, Wyatt, and Charlotte; sisters, Winnie and Ron Wysocki, Rita Grennay, Fran and Richard Savicki, and Patricia Whitney; sister-in-law, Marietta Grennay; as well as his dad, Rudy and Hope Flores, and many more. John dedicated 15 years of his life to Clark Equipment Co., among others; but dedicated his lifetime to loving and supporting his family. He felt most at home with Yamaha handlebars in his hands, but always with a helmet. In between his woodworking and golf, John spent his time teaching his grandchildren how to play pool and how to drive a stick-shift, albeit poorly.
Cremation has taken place and a visitation and service will be held at Vandercook Baptist Church, 703 E. McDevitt Avenue, on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Kyle Vegter officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Military Honors will be provided by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
