As a member of Wilber-Bartlett Post 315, Commander of the S.A.L. squadron John was a highly valued part of the Legion Family. He will be sorely missed. I remember he stood with me at a Ceremonial function for the village of Cement City.He wore his uniform with pride and performed well.That is the memory I wish to keep of him.
One of my favorite people to run into when at Clark Lake. I will miss our great conversations about manufacturing and other topics.

One of my favorite things to do with Captain John was putzing around Clark Lake on the raft w/he and our family...also, I am so grateful that he and Lori were able to visit us in Montrose and Telluride CO last September. It was a special time together. John loved to travel and over the years he had had many trips out West to visit myself and my family. My heart is heavy at this time for all of us who loved him dearly.
