John E. Millis IV's Obituary
Age 82, of Jerome, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021. He was born on July 30, 1938 at St. Julian's, Malta to John III and Jesse Millis. John served in the U.S. Army and then went on to a long career with Great Lakes Steel. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Chris Parker and two siblings. John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Darlene; son, John (Kathi) Millis V; daughter, Carrie Parker; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held at Aldrich Cemetery, 7300 Waldron Road, Jerome, MI 49249 on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 11 am with Rev. Larry Rubingh officiating. Military honors will be given by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
