John Hugh Nagy's Obituary
John Hugh Nagy passed away July 5, 2023, at the age of 77, to join the love of his life, Marcella Jane (Swank) Nagy. John was born on September 29, 1945. The son of Pete and Vera Nagy. John is survived by 4 boys, John Jr, Christopher, Shawn, and Eric Nagy, and 5 stepchildren, Kevin, Paul, Marty, Kim and Paula. Also survived by 2 sisters, Julie (Richard) Fredrickson and Sharon (Richard) Jones. John was a 1963 graduate of Michigan Center High School and went on to serve the U.S. Airforce for 4 years (1963-1967) during the Vietnam War. John worked at Associated Springs in Ann Arbor and Saline, Michigan in Skilled Trades as a Millwright for 35 years, where he retired in June 2002. John was a proud Grandparent of 23 grandkids and 13 great-grandkids. John was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Michigan Center for over 45 years. According to John’s wishes, cremation has been selected and John will be laid to rest next to his wife at Leoni Cemetery.
