Age 67, of Jonesville, passed away at the Henry Ford Hospice Home Tuesday September 27, 2022. John was born in Jackson, Michigan on Monday, November 1, 1954 to the late John Edward and Virginia Mae (Atzenhoffer) Rudolph. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by the significant other of 22 years; Dawn Armstrong. John was a graduate of Michigan Center High School Class of 1972. He worked at General Products for about 20 years, and then pursued many jobs, from construction to concrete work. He was an arborist and loved the outdoors. If you wish donate a tree in his honor. He and Dawn enjoyed the farm life with the cows, horses and swine and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to tinker on anything mechanical, enjoyed old Westerns on TV, country and rock music and reading old books with a western theme. He had a love of all his old hunting dogs and was known for his artistic ability creating beautiful drawings. He was described as a Hillbilly and was proud of that moniker. Cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate this very special man's life will be held at Michigan Center Eagles (302 5th Street, Michigan Center, MI) Saturday October 8th at 2:00 pm. The family wishes to thank Henry Ford Hospice Home for their compassionate care of our loved one.
