Johnnie LaVern Rangler's Obituary
Johnnie LaVern Rangler Sr., Age 77, passed away February 19, 2026, surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
He was born on May 12th, 1948, in Maybee, Michigan to William and Violet (Blades) Rangler. On April 22nd, 1967, he married the love of his life Myra Lee Ann.
Johnnie worked for Ford Motor company for 40+ years and retired. He was a proud member of the Brooklyn Fraternal Order of Eagles. Johnnie also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle alongside his son, spending time with his family and his dogs Elvis and Luna. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Myra, sister Betty Wegner, brother Dave (Cheri) Rangler, brother-in-law Bob Iverson, sister-in-law Sandy Hagerdon, and niece Laura Turner.
He is survived by his son Johnnie (Ethel) Rangler Jr., daughter Theresa (Kyle) Rangler, and daughter Danielle Hamlett. Five grandchildren Morgan (Tyler), Dylan (Nicole), Harley, Breanna (Ryan), and Jeffery, five great-grandchildren Branston, Oakley, Piper, Knox, Hartlyn, brother Ernie (Beth) Rangler, brother-in-law’s, Larry Wegner, John (Sherry) Iverson, and many nieces and nephews.
