Joseph Thomas Kornowski's Obituary
Age 51, of Blackman Township, passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Health September 17, 2018. He is survived by his son, Lee T. Kornowski, his father, Donald R. Kornowski, two sisters, Patty (Curtis) Black and Rachel (Malissa) Kornowski, two brothers, Brad (Beth) Kornowski and John Kornowski. Close family friend, Israel Gray and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica (Falicki) Kornowski. Joe had worked at JANX Gas and Oil for many years. He owned and operated JTK Enterprises, a computer tech and repair firm for many years. He was a dedicated volunteer at the Mission of Hope Cancer Fund, donating many hours as their tech consultant. In 2017 he won their Gracie Crockett Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award. He was known to many as 'Computer Joe' and he helped and gave to the community all he could. No matter what the problem, it wasn't a problem for him. All he needed was time. No problems, only solutions. Mr. Kornowski has been cremated. A Celebration of his life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to his son to help defray final expenses.
