Joseph Michael Poynter's Obituary
Joseph Michael Poynter, 20, of Michigan Center, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Joseph’s family and friends will gather from 4:00p.m.-7:00p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (Formerly Arthur-Day Funeral Home). His funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Refuge Bible Church, 2155 S. Portage Rd. Jackson Michigan, 49201, with visitation from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. Pastor Bruce Mast will lead the celebration of life.
Joe was born on December 10, 2003, in Jackson, Michigan to Ginger Lucille Russell. He graduated from Michigan Center High School in 2022. He will be remembered for his heart of gold and silly sense of humor. Always wearing a smile, Joseph would do anything for anybody. He loved his brothers and enjoyed spending time with his friends. Joseph enjoyed sports and music. His trip to Tennessee was a highlight of his life, filled with fond memories of his time in the mountains. Joseph will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Joseph is survived by; his mother, Ginger Russell (Brian Vroman); brothers, Collin Poynter (Alize Tripp) and Tyler Poynter; Aunt Theresa (Ryan) Cook; and cousins, Cody Pegg, Noah Pegg, and Hunter Clemons.
