Joshua Abner Bischoff's Obituary
Age 78, of Onondaga Twp., formerly of Napoleon, passed away at home December 4, 2019 under the loving care of his family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 47 years; Linda R. (maiden-McGlinch) Bischoff, six children; Joellen (Randall) Abbott, JoAnna Bischoff, Nonda (William) Brazier, Ruth (James Burdick) Finnerty, Heather Hubbard and Matthew Bischoff, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, sister; Karen (Jack) Spieth, two brothers; Arthur (Giore Etzion) Bischoff and Jeremiah Bischoff, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter; Loretta Foster, three sisters; Hazel Hubert, Martha Kasprzak and Sarah Bischoff, brother; Johnathon Bischoff and his parents; Arthur C. and Christine J. (maiden-Winters) Bischoff. Josh was a long time Jackson area contractor with a great gift for carpentry. His entrepreneurial spirit meshed with his owning and operating the Trach Décor Company for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying golf and hunting. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1-4 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, December 9, 2019 at 1 pm with Rev. Andrew Kring, HFAH Chaplain officiating. Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon, with a Social Gathering of family and friends immediately following. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
