Joyce Arlene Bush's Obituary
Age 82, of Blackman Township, passed away at Vista Grande Villa under the loving care of her family, the staff and Great Lakes Hospice November 12, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Carroll H. Bush, two step-daughters, Donna (Dale) Breen and Merrilee (Richard) Skrocki and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Dale, brother Bob and parents, George and Kathryn (Groh) Gibbs and her beloved cat, Bing. She worked on the Draft Board for Jackson County during the Korean War and retired from the Jackson County Registrar of Deeds Department. Joyce enjoyed reading, trying new recipes, watching COPS on TV, flowers, feeding birds and squirrels, writing poetry, creating artwork and doing crafts as well as being an active member of the Vandercook Lake Lions Club. Services will be held at St. Aidan's Church, 361 East Grove, Michigan Center, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11 am with Rev. Larry Rubingh officiating. Private interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Leslie. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday 2-4 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Vandercook Lake Lions Club.
