Joyce Elaine Manning (Engers)'s Obituary
Manning, Joyce Elaine (DeLong), age 85, of Rives Township, passed away at her home January 17, 2014 under the loving care of her family and Great Lakes Hospice. She is survived by three children, Joseph Engers, Cheri (Jim) Hobbs and Stacey (Steve Morris) Manning, three step-children, Joette (Rubin) Perez, Suzette Manning and Lonnie Manning, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and brother Larry (Dawn) DeLong. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Engers and Donald Manning, parents, George and Cora DeLong, step-daughter Donnette Manning, siblings, Mona Punschke, Arthur DeLong, Leon DeLong and Leona Wetzel. For many years she operated a Beauty Salon out of her home, had worked for Hospice, was an active participant at the Boos Senior Citizen Center and enjoyed bowling. Mrs. Manning has been cremated. A Memorial Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Stream in the Desert Ministries, 145 N. Gorham Street (corner of Ganson Street). Contributions in her memory are directed to the Great Lakes Hospice
