Joyce M. Spence (Maiden-Deem)'s Obituary
Age 70, of Norvell Township, passed from this world to her mother's loving arms in the presence of Jesus February 15, 2016 at the Arbor Manor Care Center. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William E., two sons, Jay R. (Heather Depweg) and Scott (Karmen Haney) Spence, four grandchildren, Austin and Blake Spence, Kenedi Haney and Tyler Depweg, sister, Janet Wood, mother in law, Jane Spence, sister-in-law, Nancy Beitelschies and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jo Ann Chambers, parents, Gerald and Ruth (maiden-Ulrich) Deem, brother-in-law, Tommy Sutherland and her father-in-law, Floyd 'Bob' Spence. Joyce retired from Consumers Energy, raised two fine sons and was a city girl who converted well and lovingly to country life. Services will be held at The Trinity Lutheran Church, 122 W. Wesley Street, Jackson on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11 am with Rev. Michael Hanson officiating. Interment Norvell Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday 4-7 pm and on Saturday at the Church one hour prior to services. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
