Joyce Arlene Weber's Obituary
Joyce would like to let you know that her work here is done. On March 22, 2020, she received a call, an offer she couldn't refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment includes a huge reunion with family and friends, some of whom she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, baking, and reading to her heart's content. Music, laughter, love, and dachshunds are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left instructions for everyone to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed.
We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love for life, family, and friends - and especially her cooking and baking. She worked very hard all her life, up until almost the very end. She made a difference in the lives of many.
A private burial will be held at Roseland Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest next to Dick. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Highland Assisted Living & Memory Care for their compassion over the last three and a half years, as well as Grace Hospice for their care over the last nine months.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In the spirit of her unending generosity, please perform a random act of kindness or pay it forward in her memory.
