Joyce Irene Wood's Obituary
Joyce Irene Wood, Age 76, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023. Joyce’s family and friends will gather Friday, June 9, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 and on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. Her service will immediately follow the visitation at 10:00 a.m.
She was born on December 16, 1946, to Richard and Helen (Keefer) Wood. Joyce married the love of her life, Gordon E. Wood, on October 31, 1966, and spent 39 years happily married. She will be remembered for her love of travel. Joyce really enjoyed the east coast, especially the ocean shoreline. Her favorite places to vacation on the east coast were Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Ocean City, Maryland.
Joyce will be missed by her children, sons Robert (Shelly) Wood, Michael (Stacy) Wood; grandchildren Justin Wood, Jesslynn Lupo, Brandon Wood, Amber Lupo, Megan Hartzell and Alex Wood, and great-granddaughter, Aarica Rearick. She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Gordon, and her sister, Barbara Williams.
