Judd Frederick Brenner's Obituary
Judd Frederick Brenner, 72, of Jackson passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Senior Moments Assisted Living in Jackson. Judd’s family and friends will gather Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (Formerly Arthur-Day Funeral Home). His funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm. Interment of ashes will be at Fisher Cemetery at a later date. Cody Hudgins will officiate.
He was born on March 20, 1951, in Albion, Michigan to Lewis and Anna (Doughty) Brenner. Judd married the late, Cindy Warner Hargis, on October 7, 2007. He will be remembered for his beard, suspenders and many hats. Judd started growing his beard at 18 and it has never come off. He is a graduate of Homer High School, class of 1969. Judd was a multi-generational farmer in the Homer /Litchfield area. He enjoyed watching the old-time westerns, listening to the 50’s -60’s style music, playing poker on the computer and warm Natural Light beer. Judd was a hard worker and doted on his wife, Cindy, until her passing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Judd is survived by his sons, Andy (Lori) Hargis and Casey Hargis; siblings, Chris (Beth) Brenner and Lydia (Mark) Brown; grandchildren Austin and Makenna Hargis, Brynn and Michael Ruhl; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Anna Brenner; wife, Cindy; son, Joe Hargis; brother, William Brenner and sister, Margaret Palmer.
