Judith “Judy” Ann Gallup, 81, from Jackson MI, formally from Grand Rapids, OH, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Arbor Manor Nursing Home. Judy’s family and friends will gather from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. A private graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Grand Rapids, OH.
She was born on February 22, 1944, in Toledo, OH, to Elmer and Henrietta (Barnett) Carter. Judy obtained her certificate to become a Licensed Practical Nurse from Jackson Community College. She spent over 30 years dedicated to working in nursing homes, helping to care for elderly patients, which she was very passionate about doing. She loved collecting lighthouses, reading and The Harry Potter World. Judy took pride in being a grandmother and a great grandmother. She will be remembered as a loving and caring individual, to her family, friends and patients. Judy will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Judy will be missed by her children, Robert (Christine) Falor and Michael (Penny) Falor; her siblings, Jim (Sharon) Carter and Marie Powell; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Kaysie) Falor, Hilary (JJ) Elarton, Harleigh (Chance) Chapman and Robert (Matthew) Carter; her great grandchildren, River Elarton and Immelia Elarton; her childhood friend, Joyce; and a special thank you to Melissa and the entire staff at Arbor Manor for caring for Judy for so many years with love and compassion. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Henrietta; and 5 of her siblings.
