Judy Ann Frye's Obituary
Judy Ann Frye, 80, of Napoleon passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. A private family graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Jackson, Michigan.
She was born on July 17, 1944, in Jackson, Michigan to Wayne and Ethelyn (Gadd) Whiting. Judy married Jim Frye on November 23, 1966 in Jackson, Michigan. She will be remembered as a gourmet cook who absolutely loved to entertain family and friends and neighbors. Judy graduated from Jackson High School, class of 1962 and Jackson Community College with an associate’s degree. She became manager of compensation and benefits for Aeroquip/Trinova/Eaton where she worked for over 35 years, retiring in 1999. She will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Jim; her daughter, Marty and Ken VanZandt; and grandchildren Lucas and Lydia VanZandt. She is preceded in death by her infant son, James Scott; and her parents, Dutch and Peg Whiting.
