Daugherty, June MarieBrooklyn, MichiganHer Legacy... June Marie Daugherty, 93, passed away August 6, 2019. She was born on June 26, 1926 in Comstock, Michigan to Joseph Edward and Eva Pearl (Pike) Patnoude. June married the love of her life, Clarence Wesley Daugherty, Sr. on February 27, 1945 in Cement City, Michigan. June and her husband Clarence owned and operated T.E.D Ranch Campground, a family business here in Brooklyn for many years. She loved to travel and camp throughout the United States, and went on several cruises with the last one being to Aruba. For many years, she was a snowbird wintering in Florida. June was a very interesting person with lots of stories to share with her family that she dearly loved. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her Family... June will be missed by her children, Janet (Dave) Goll, Sharon (Francis) Ely, Joseph Daugherty and Mary Lou (George) Kassel; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Daugherty; her sister Mary Flegal; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren with one more great grandchild and 4 great great grandchildren on the way, a sister-in-law Pearl Daugherty and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Clarence "Jim" Wesley Daugherty Jr, four brothers and four sisters. Her Farewell... June's family and friends will gather Sunday, August 11, 2019, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel, Brooklyn, Michigan where her Farewell will begin at 3:00 pm. Friend of the Family Toby Spencer will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions may be given to the family for future designation.
