June Marie Ryder's Obituary
Age 94, of Summit Township, passed away March 5, 2020 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. She is survived by three children; Robert Donnelly, Sheryl (Tony) Owens and Tom (Annette) Donnelly, five grandchildren; Kip (Andrea) Grimes, Trevor (Tara) Grimes, Jordon (Shelby) Owens, Kristen Donnelly and Courtney (Matt) Robbins, great-grandchildren; Kip, Aden, Zander, Zoey, Bennett, Ryker and Sawyer, nieces and nephews; Denise, Don, Dan and David. She was preceded in death by her husband; Clarence Ryder in 1980, two sisters; Jeanne Prough and Donna Burgett and her parents; Robert A. and Mildred R. (maiden-Bengtsson) Burgett. She was a loving mom and grandma who was devoted to her family. June was a retiree of S & H Camp Company where she used her talent as an expert seamstress. She loved horses, her beloved pet cat, enjoyed collecting and making china dolls. Her artistic talents were displayed through her oil paintings and drawings. A gift of a green thumb for gardening and flowers made her yard the envy of the neighborhood. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 2-4 pm. Private interment at will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Summit Township, Michigan. The family wishes to thank the staff at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home for their care and compassion and direct any memorial donations be made to the Hospice Home.
