Carter, KarenCement City, MichiganHer Legacy... Karen Charmae Carter, 78 passed away August 4, 2019. She was born on March 2, 1941, in Tainan, Taiwan to You Ching and Ying Tsu (Pao) Liao. Karen married the love of her life, Ronald Earl Carter, on July 23, 1966 in Dundee, Michigan. She will be remembered as a beautiful person that loved life and was very active in karate, exercise classes and gardening. She loved to get together with her girlfriends and play pickle ball. Karen worked as a cashier at Farmer Jack's, retiring after 35 years of service. She was also a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Brooklyn. Karen was a vivacious woman that loved well and was well loved. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her Family... Karen will be missed by her husband Ronald; four brothers; several nephews, two nieces, two great nieces, and her church family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Her Farewell... Karen's family and friends will gather Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 402 S Mill St., Brooklyn, Michigan. Pastor Jeffrey Sheeks will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Brooklyn.
