Karen Sue Eddy's Obituary
Age 66, of Alma, Michigan, formerly of Grass Lake, passed away at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home Sunday, November 22, 2020. She is survived by four siblings; Lyle (Diane) Eddy, Sheree (Greg) Stebbins, Loretta (Robert) Chapman and Lisa Eddy and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lyle and Vera (maiden-Vogan) Eddy. Karen was a graduate of Napoleon High School Class of 1973, long time and dedicated member of the Grass Lake Federated Church, the Fern Leaf Chapter #159 Order of the Eastern Star, and 'Honorary' Member of the Jackson Shrine Club, The last few years she had resided at the Masonic Pathways Home in Alma, MI where her gentle kindness and good heart endeared her to the staff and residents. A Public Visitation (with COVID protocols) will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 1 pm until 2 pm. The public will be dismissed at two and a private service will be held for Karen's immediate family at 2 pm with Rev. Chuck McNeil officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery (Grass Lake East). Contributions in her memory are directed to the Masonic Pathways (1200 Wright Avenue, Alma, MI 48801) or the PBS Station WKAR (404 Wilson Road Room 212, East Lansing, MI 48824).
