Karen Jean Frizzell's Obituary
Karen Jean Frizzell, 64, of Jackson passed away at home June 5, 2024.
Karen was born on August 6, 1959, in Jackson, Michigan to Carl and Norma (Rauh) Swank. Karen married the love of her life, Fred Frizzell in 2001 in Jackson, Michigan. Karen loved animals, especially her dogs, Babe, JC and Tyson. She enjoyed gardening, decorating for the seasons and holidays and shopping. Karen spent time at the Eagles’s playing bingo and camping at Twin Pines Campground in Concord. She was great at her career in home healthcare because she always loved to help others. Karen cherished spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Karen will be missed by her children, Robert (Latrice Dixon) Bonner and Michael Eugene Bonner; grandchildren, Shyanna, Tessa, Alexis and Zaden Bonner, Shane, Tyler, Zachary, Anthony, Whitney, Sylas, Elizabeth and Raven Bonner; great grandchildren, Carsyn, Brysyn, Alexandria, Josiah and Zamar; cousin Dot Swank; nephew Charles Hall III; boyfriend John Dingee Jr. and many beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Norma (Rauh) Swank, father Carl Swank, stepfather Donald Throop, husband Fred Frizzell, brother Alan Swank, sister Laura Swank, and brother-in-law Danny Smith.
