Karen M. Kramer's Obituary
Age 66, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Katherine (Schnable) Kramer; brother, Kevin Kramer; nephew, Bryan Fehr and grandniece, Anna Allbee. Karen is survived by her sister, Keena (Tom) Fehr of Michigan Center; niece, Beth (Rich) Allbee of Jackson; grandnephews, Curtis and Dalton Allbee; Goddaughter, Stephanie Lee; aunt, uncle and cousins, several of her cousins had special connections with and were very dear to Karen. For 16 years, Karen was a care giver at St. Joseph Day Care Center and had worked other jobs over the years as well. She enjoyed doing crafts, especially needlepoint. Family was important to Karen and she was the historian and genealogist as well as in general "go to" person to reach out to in her family for gathering and reporting of important events. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to honor Karen's life will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home in Michigan Center on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Dave and Becky Maitland leading the service. Visitation will be from noon until service time. Interment will take place at St. John's Cemetery.
