Karin SuAnne Devine's Obituary
Karin SuAnne Devine, 71, of Cement City, MI, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, very unexpectedly at Henry Ford Hospital.
She was born on April 18, 1954, in Jackson, MI, to Harold and Thelma (Adams) Williams. Karin was married to the love of her life, John Devine, on December 16, 1976, at their home in Cement City, MI. They had 48 wonderful years together.
Karin loved her family and spending time with them. She was lovingly known as “Mammy” to many. Karin was always up for an adventure. She loved to go places, especially if her grandkids were going. Karin loved going on shopping trips, as she was an avid shopper. She also loved going to the beach with her family. Karin was a very loving person and would stop whatever she was doing to help others. She enjoyed attending her grandkid’s school functions when they were in school. Karin enjoyed spending time at her pool or hanging riverside at her daughter’s house.
Mammy will be really missed by all that knew her. She was a one-of-a-kind person. She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Leroy) Jaycox; her son, J.D; 3 grandchildren, riley, Izzie and Mic; and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband, John Devine; her parents, Harry and Thelma Williams; and all of her siblings.
