Johnson, Kathleen Diane Mildred, age 68 of Onsted, MI passed away peacefully at home with family gathered around her on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Kathleen‘s family and friends will gather privately for a private family gathering and viewing at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel.
Kathleen is a proud 1976 graduate of Garden City West high school. She married the love of her life, Gerald Johnson on April 20, 1989 in Winchester, Virginia. Kathy worked for Country Market for over 20+ years as a clerk and supervisor where she made numerous friends with customers and co-workers. In her spare time, she loved to garden, cook and being with her family. Kathy was a kind, caring, and compassionate woman with a motherly love instinct in every fiber of her being. She was an amazing wife, mother and a beloved Mi-Mi, who had no problem, giving her husband a full “honey do list”. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Kathy survived by her husband of 37 years, Gerald, her two sons Brian (Erica) Johnson of Mason, MI; Adam (fiancé, Shelbi Polidori) Johnson of Pinckney, MI; her siblings, James McGaw of Tecumseh, MI; Karen McGaw of Westland, MI; grandchildren, Zoey and Blake Johnson.
She is proceeded in death by her parents.
