Kathleen L. Lanphear's Obituary
Age 66, of Jackson, passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Health on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. Kathi is survived by her beloved family, her husband of 39 years, Tim Lanphear of Jackson; two sons, Jeremy Lanphear of Jackson, and Joshua Lanphear & his wife, Bryanna Lanphear of Mesa, AZ; she is also survived by her sister, Susan and niece, Kasee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Marlene Kirsch. Kathi's greatest love was that of being a wonderful, caring wife and mother to her husband and children. She also had a soft spot for her many Pembroke Welsh Corgis. She was a great cook and enjoyed baking, particularly around the holidays. Kathi loved all of the holidays, but Christmas the most, because she loved giving to others, whether of herself and abilities, or of material items. If someone needed something, she was there for them. She was a fan of NASCAR and Michigan Wolverine Football, as well as an avid collector of lighthouses. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to honor Kathi's life will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Larry Rubingh officiating. Family will begin greeting friends at 1:00 pm with Covid mask restrictions in effect.
