Kathryn Sue Heckaman's Obituary
Kathryn Sue Heckaman, 72, of Norvell, Michigan passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson, MI, surrounded by her family.
She was born on February 14, 1952, in Jackson, MI, to Donald and Mary (Edinger) Porath. Kathryn married the love of her life, Roger, on November 6, 1970, in Chelsea, Michigan. Kathryn will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. If you knew her, you most likely had the good fortune of receiving a beautiful blanket she either knitted or crocheted. Kathryn was an excellent cake baker, loved reading, camping, attending her church, Norvell Baptist, but most of all she adored and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Kathryn will be missed by her husband of 54 years, Roger; her children, Christina Heckaman-Moore and Eric (Jodi) Heckaman; her brother David (Michal) Porath; grandchildren Brittney (Jared) Roy, Macy Moore and Rylan Heckaman; and many other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary Porath.
