Kathryn Sue Kern's Obituary
Age 64, of Battle Creek, formerly of Michigan Center, passed away December 12, 2016 at the Laurels of Bedford after a lengthy illness. She is survived by three sisters, Helen Jo (Ron) Buksar, Julie (John) Schmid and Susan (David) Thorpe, many nieces and nephews, special friends, Patty Donaho and Linda Lemler. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lillian Paul and her brother, David Paul. She was a 1970 graduate of Michigan Center High School, completed LPN training at Jackson Community College and worked in the nursing field her entire career. She was a wonderful care giver to her patients and a loving and doting owner of her canine pets. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Church at 11 am, with Fr. Tim MacDonald officiating.
